In that case, there doesn't seem any reason to wait, other than waiting for
availability.
My current favorite x40 is the 1.2ghz processor, 40gb drive, 258mb, 11b
wifi, 4 cell 3.5hr battery, 2.7lb, 1 year warranty. Add 512mb memory and a
4200rpm 80gb drive in a 2.5" usb case to taste. If necessary, travel with
a second battery.
