[Thinkpad] T30, Win 2000, and troubles with monitor refresh when using a KVM switchbox

Hi,

I just bought an IOGear KVM switchbox (4 ports, PS/2). When I switch to my
T30 (which is in a port replicator and connected to an IBM P202 monitor),
the refresh rate of the monitor seems to be slower than it's normal 75 Hz,
so there is a lot of flickering. Also, when I try to change my screen
resolution, Windows 2000 often crashes. Does anyone know whether T30
Thinkpads do not output to monitors correctly when connected to KVMs?
Could this be a problem with Windows 2000? Or perhaps the KVM is
defective?

Cheers,
Robert
