[Thinkpad] Thinkpad T41 Screen Skeptic

Hi! I've heard rumors that Thinkpad T41's (model with SXGA or XGA, I'm not
sure) screen seems to have inconsistant brightness issue--bottom part
appears to be BRIGHTER than the upper part.

Is this a myth?

I'm planning to buy this model and would like to make certain that this is
not an isolated issue.
