   Just out of curiosity, did you use the calculator on the thinkpad or the
dell to get your 200%?

   IMHO, Dell are cheaper but Thinkpads are very reliable and the service is
second to none. Have something go wrong with your Dell laptop and unless you
are a large corporation with an excellent service contract, wait for the
runaround.

   You will never get that with IBM.

   I make my living with my laptop. Without it, I'd be out of a job. I don't
want to risk my livelihood on $1700.

   YMMV.
