Mine is under warranty until 11/2005, which means it was made in late
2002. It does in fact have a 'Designed for Windows XP' sticker which
not many T23s seem to have, suggesting it was one of the last few made.
Oddly it came with a Windows 2000 Pro COA :-) I got XP Pro and
stuck the COA sticker to the bottom and now all is sussed.

There was a laptop sale in my Uni's student union the other day, mostly
IBM Thinkpad's, rather pricy mind. 1GHz, XGA, 256MB, DVD T23 for £519.
I got mine with the remaining 2 yrs approx warranty at 1.13GHz, XGA,
512MB, CDRW/DVD for £400 which was a good deal IMO. Very pleased with it.

I'm rambling ;-) Basically the T23 should be under warranty as Bruce
says (some by a matter of months, some by up to 2 years)
