[Thinkpad] A21e Pesky Issues

On A21e w/ W2K SP4:

1. On startup, auto-dail now always appears. (Dialup
Networking). This did not occur during last 2 years.
Suddenly now this pesky thing does appear. I have been unable to find a way to disable it. Help?

2. Audio jack doesn't work. Machine definitely has the latest IBM Audio drivers. Unable to find a replacement part on IBM parts list. Anyone know of the replacement part number, if there is one?
