Excellent recommendation.
There is another option if your budget is limited and you don't mind an
older model. IBM auctions on ebay has new in box (also refurbished
machines) at attractive prices; there are a number of independent vendors
who do the same thing on ebay. Places like PC Connection or Tiger
sometimes have these machines also. Try for one that still has some time
on the warranty.
