Well, you could try to find a 2K recovery CD set. All you need is a serial
number to order one, they may even send you one for the machine you have (I
have gotten recovery CD's from IBM in the past for a machine that came with
a different OS - just told them that I needed to run the other), if the
first rep says no, hang up and call back a few times, if you get lucky they
may help you out.
