I am using PCMCIA SimpleTech DriveLink, which made by
ShingingTech, to clone my older thinkpads via ghost
6.03 via drive to drive copy. We got this kit when we
ordered hard drive for tecra 8200 and this kit will
required Tecra 8100/8200 caddy to housed your hard
drive.

Bootdisk
- Create DOS CDROM bootdisk from dell windows
rescue/reinstall floppy maker program
- Remove all CDROM parts to free up some space
- Download PCMCIA dos driver from shinning tech and
configure it to the bootdisk

Ghost disk
- Copy ghost.exe and ghost.env to a blank floppy

Boot with bootdisk with pcmcia and your destination
drive plugged in then I remove and insert my ghost
disk and type ghost.exe then choose disk to disk copy
and start cloning

The only machine that I have use this one which
dosen't with is my x22 which complaint about memorry
error when cloning under dos (40gb to 40gb). I guess
I'll have to try it again this weekend.

Any thoughts on this?
