[Thinkpad] Lotus Notes 6.5.1

I wrote a few weeks ago about my problems with Lotus Notes 6.5.1 (and Skype
.97) on my Thinkpad X31. Tried a zillion things which didn't fix it.
Today, I went into IBM Access Support, Network Connectivity, and clicked on
Access IBM fix to address network performance.

Now everything works. Anyone have any idea what that fix is?
