No, the 770 drive has a strange ribbon connector. Been t ere, tried that

    Doesn't that back connector come off with the rest of the plastic
    pieces? It did on the Latitude and A21p drives I swapped last year.
    Underneath was a 'standard' connector that fit both units' proprietary
    adapters
