[Thinkpad] Trackpoint - auto-disable while typing?

Hello,

is there any known way to automatically disable the trackpoint while
typing?

Reason is while blind typing I frequently touch the trackpoint by accident
when hitting the letters G, H or B. This causes the text insertion point to
jump to another position which is quite annoying.

I love the trackpoint much more than the touchpad. Therefore I don't want
to disable it, but it seems I'll have no other choice.

The touchpad provides the option to detect and prevent accidental
movements. It shouldn't be difficult at all to implement a similar feature
for the trackpoint. One only had to define a minimum amount of time between
the last keystroke and allowing trackpoint movement.

If this feature doesn't already exist, is there any IBM feedback address
where I (we) can suggest the implementation of such a feature? I think I'm
not the only one who would strongly welcome it :)

hans
