In my post about USB hardware, please ignore/remove
paragraph starting "SUGGESTED (MODEL) SOLUTION ..."
and replace with the following:
" SUGGESTED (MODEL) SOLUTION:
Software or operating system upgrades will not do the
trick: hardware upgrading is the only answer. The 560X
and 380XD and higher models are all CardBus-enabled -
these have been tested 100% working by me with a
non-branded, Taiwanese-made USB 2.0 CardBus adapter. "
