[Thinkpad] Re: 560x and USB through enhanced dock and WIN2K?

Thanks for the data, I've had very good luck with my
560x with WIN98 Lite and an enhanced port replicator.
Do I understand that a 560x running Win2K might have
some problems with
USB through the dock?

About USB functionality through the Enhanced Port
Replicator under Win 2000, I am sorry I don't have an
answer. My machines don't have Win2000 installed, and
I only get to use it at the university.

About external hard drives under Win98SE or Win98Lite,
USB 2.0 is generally no problem. But for some unknown
reason, I just find USB 2.0 functionality on the 560X
and 380ED just isn't as stable as USB 1.1, although
that does not mean USB 2.0 functionality is unstable
in absolute terms.

Hope this is small enlightenment.
