Hiya,
You will loose your registry and program settings (thus requiring
re-install of applications) with this method probably but retain all of
your files otherwuse, but get to a DOS prompt:
del c:\windows\win.com
(where c: is the drive where you have windows 98, 4.10.1998 installed)
Then just do:
<cd drive>:\win98\setup
It may mention needing to boot from 98se book disk but iirc, pressing
esc cancels this and it commences installation, read the message it
spits out, it will tell you which key will continue the install.
