To Bruce and Other IBM Gurus:

How plentiful are good used system boards for a 750 MHz A21M IBM Thinkpad and
what are they worth? I suspect that a laptop that shows a pixel matrix
across the lower 2" of the screen would have a bad video chip.

I noticed system boards with video chips from 4 to 16 MB; are these
interchangeable? How does the A21M compare to the T20 or T21 with regard to
construction and long life? Can you upgrade the 750 PIII to a 900 or 1.0 GHz unit
without changing the CPU fan?
