RE: Re: [Thinkpad] Win98 on 600X won't print

Greetings:
If you can live with restarting your print jobs, I would begin this
suggestion with removing everything in the queue via the following:

If you want to remove all print jobs from the queue, choose Printer | Purge
Print Jobs. All pending print jobs are removed from the queue and are not
sent to the printer

I believe the best option would be to 'start from scratch', i.e. to remove
all that is in the print queue and begin anew with the simple test I
proposed. Given the volatile nature of the print queue, I suspect the best
option to effect this is to reboot your machine. I hope this is viable for
your situation.

I suspect that the purge print job may not complete, so give the PC a minute
before rebooting. This way, the reboot process should not have any spooled
output pending.

Once you have verified that the queue is indeed empty after reboot, start
your troubleshooting process until you observe a failure.
