Eudora has great filtering capabilities:

Subject: [Thinkpad] OT: Email client: what are alternatives to Outlook
andOE?

This is OT but there seems to be knowledge of the subject here.
I'm looking for an email client which is reliable and can filter based on the full mail header. OE cannot do this, Outlook can. Other features to help with handling the onslaught of mail would be handy
So far I haven't had a security issue with either Outlook or OE, but I did have a long headache getting Outlook to work.

Details: I use forwarding so I can't easily filter on the visible To: field. Typically what I want to find in the header is the address I originally gave the sender, which is not equal to the To: header when I get it.The To: field as I receive it also does not show the delivery address if they've sent to a list.

thanks

Larry
