Ellis:
You seem to be the master of receiving bad info tonite. In fact, the CMOS
battery is certainly still made! Fedco Electronics makes them (wholesale
quantities only), and IBM parts still sell them - in fact, one of my
customers bought one from IBM only two weeks ago, and I bought 25 from Fedco
very recently. Amazing how people will pass along wrong information, or just
outright lie (the motherboard guy - 600 series mobo's are all over Ebay for
$40-50, and take around an hour to install if you don't know what you are
doing - I have done them in less than 15 minutes, four thumbs and all!!)
