It's very confusing here. Because there are a number of observations.
For some time, I have not been able to get it to read a computer CD.
But it will play a music CD. No problem. And plays perfect.

It seems quite annoying. Because I can't install drivers for any
hardware without inserting a CD.

It also seemed like around the same time, I started to have problems
with common DOS commands. It says that whatever is not recognized as
an internal or external command.

Just today, short time ago, I noticed that the CD drive, drive D:
disappeared from My Computer. And just now, I notice that it has
returned there. And I tried to insert a Wordperfect CD. And the menu
came up.

So, I got to troubleshoot somehow. Unless I buy things quite
frivolously.
