David
I might like to try the 32 Mb chip, with a 266 Mhz processor any help is
appreciated. Contact me offlist and we can discuss details.
This might actually be something from your extensive 560 collection that
I can afford to ship from Hawaii (have you got a spare I/O door?).

I'm thinking the solid state 560x (Win98 Lite) is going to be the low
power portable so I'm trying to make it as basic and simple as possible.
Reducing the memory is consistent with that goal.

The second 560x is slated for a new fast quiet hard drive (5400 rpm) max
memory (128+32 Mb) and Win2K Lite. This will be my traveling machine so
it needs to perform well enough to replace my desktop (which dare not
speak it's name).

technology is the answer, what was the question?
