As forbidding as it sounds, the memory dump is actually a diagnostic device.
It creates a log of exactly what was going on just prior to a crash, to help
you figure out what caused it. I suggest going to
http://support.microsoft.com , select Win2k and search "memory dump" to see
how to locate and interpret the contents of your dumpfile(s).
