Really? The merger was indeed promoted by Carly Fiorina and was not
endorsed by Walter Hewlett, but Compaq didn't have much say in the
transaction. Anyway, have a look at www.compaq.com, it says "© 2004
Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P."
