Hello all
I've been trying to simplify my e-mail system and have got as far as
having the data files on a CF card that I plug into desktop that dare
not speak it's name (WinXP) or a couple of IBM Thinkpads (Win98 and WIN2K).
So far it works well, no matter which computer I am using I have all my
mail and can download new messages to the card.
Now I want to include the HP 200 LX palmtop
(<http://www.hplx.net/faq.faq.html>) to read and respond to mail
downloaded on one of the big computers.
To do this I need to get a different e-mail client for the LX since not
even the excellent streamline installation of netscape 7.0 (from
<www.sillydog.org>) will fit on the palmtop (8 Mb DS).
I could use an email program that will run on the palmtop (DOS 5.0) and
on the Thinkpads (Win 98 and 2K) and on the desktop (Win XP).
Another approach would be to use one program on the LX and another one
(that would read the same data files) on the Windows computers.
Any thoughts?
