Sometimes I've sat down at someone's desktop computer and started using it,
only to stop in bewilderment. I'm looking at the screen and the mouse
pointer isn't moving. It should be moving, I'm expecting it to move, but
nothing is happening. It's just not moving and I don't know why.
Then I look down and notice that my index finger is moving around and
there's no TrackPoint!
