[Thinkpad] Intodruce myself

Hello thinkpad,

i'm new to this list and think it's a good idea to say a short "hello"
to you.

My name is Boris and i'm looking for a new notebook to replace my
"old" Dell Inspiron 8200.

While looking around i found out, that maybe a small notebook is
enough for me (i'm using it for surfen, mailing, chatting and a bit
software devolping and some graphic stuff and maybe a very little
playing games). For intensive working i have a desktop machine.

The top priority is SILENCE! I won't hear any fan while just surfing
the internet or running the notebook to scan for mails etc.

So i've looked at the IBM X series. The X40 looks really nice. I
havn't seen the X31 but it seems that it is not that bigger but has
the advantage of having a 2,5" HDD and a CF-slot (i have a microdrive
and a DigiCam using CF Cards)

Together with the UltraBase i can have a DVD/CDRW-Combo which seems to
be nice... so, my next posting in this group will be some questions
about these models.
