I thought I might buy a new machine too. But then it felt like I may
get a discount if I could wait a few months. And can't really right
now.

I was gonna get a DVD drive. But they are gosh darn expensive. Or, at
least a just as good DVD drive for a Dell Latitude costs half as much.
The last time I checked, they seemed to be going for around $20. Only
for a Dell. Also, mostly I can't find people shipping outside the U.S.
Or they can ship, but only by courier. Which has hefty charges for
duty in my experience. Do you think I could find such a drive in
Canada?

Vicky, do you make most of your other purchases from the U.S. Or most
within the UK?
