Yeah Andy.

I have dismantled screens on PS2 51sx's and a TP365XD [Very easy] and on two
TP600's [More difficult].
A LCD-unit from the Toshiba laptop-line caused a bit trouble, because it
wasn't possible to get the CCFL out/in without having to bend the
aluminium.shell a tiny bit.. But it came out okay in the end.

If you have the right tools....and with this I mean screwdrivers small
enough.....it'll work out quite fine.
Somehow the manufactorers managed to assemble the LCD-unit. Therefore it's
possible, with logic, to dismantle it.
You'll be working from the back of the LCD-unit and if you don't bend
it....it'll survive.

Fingers crossed. Thumbs up
Good luck and be careful.
It's delicate stuff.

Please report back with the results.

Best regards.

dismantled the screen enclosure. I'm going to have to do this to get at the
backlight. I was wondering if the LCD will survive this.
