As somebody else on the list suggested, upgrading to IBM Access Thinkpad
3.21 (from 3.20)
seems to have solved the problem on my T-30. Interestingly enough, having
3.20 check my
system and automatically suggest upgrades failed to offer or even alert me
to the existance
of version 3.21. Hmmm... Without the knowledge and support of this list, I
never would have
known about the new version and/or fixed my problem.

PS. Thanks Bruce for the great machine.

PPS. I'm still hopeful that SOMEBODY else has successfully upgraded a T-30
from the 802.11b
mini-pci card to 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g. Anybody???
