[Thinkpad] New T-Pad T-Series

Hi All,

I have a friend who is interested in getting a new ThinkPad. She wants it
right out of the box - new. She also does not want to spend a lot of money
either. She definitely wants a T-Series for their durability and size. I
recommended that she gets, at least, a T30 then go up from there.

My question:

What is the likelihood she could buy a brand new T-30 and for what amount.
Would it be smarter to buy a T40 (and up)? What are the expected street
price ranges for new T30, T40, T41 and T42? We are talking about a standard
setup. They have a choice of going with either a cable modem or DSL.

Last question, how much more will a 15" screen cost in comparison to systems
with the 14.1"?
