Subject: [Thinkpad] Thinkpad 600E crashed with 00174 error

I have a thinkpad 600E which has crashed completely.
- When I turn it on, it gives me an error code of 174,
then goes into the hardware diagnostic mode where i
can select to test or restart.
- If I restart, it gives me 174 error code and points
to an IBM Manual (funny).
- If I select to test all hardware, everything tests

Can somebody please help me.

was running the Mcafee virus scan because it seemed
that the laptop had the MSBLAST.EXE virus. The next
thing I know, I got a blue screen indicating a memory
