There are two entirely different ways to display DOS:
(1) Full-screen DOS (when Windows is not running at all OR when you press
Alt-Enter in a Windows DOS window), just like the olden days.
(2) Inside a Windows DOS window - the kind with a blue (or some other color)
title bar on top and grey (or some other color) borders around it.
This thread is only about (1). Your question refers to (2).
Only (2) is affected by the Windows font size selection. (1) is based
entirely on the hardware font in the VGA hardware (yes, yes, DOS gurus, I do
know that replacement VGA fonts into memory, but that's a special case that
we're not talking about here).
