What I was referring to was just a driver, nothing 'internal'. Just
some file you'd download and put on your DOS disk and then reference in
your config.sys or autoexec.bat file (like HIMEM.SYS). You'd give it
the correct parameters to tell it to use VGA or SVGA or whatever. I
don't know for a fact that such a thing exists for the chipset in your
TP, so I can't really give more details. But if you've found another
solution that works then I suppose you don't need to look further.
