The latter may take a while. The former, I came from a much milder
climate that Vicky (Lexington, KY) and I can hack Chicago winters. I
learned to bundle up, something the natives don't bother to do (like
learning their way around...). I maintain that Chicago is the most
livable of US big cities, between NY, LA and us. Only other place I'd
live is Seattle. (I'll return to Lexington someday, but I'll be in a
box and six of my friends will be carrying me.)
