[Thinkpad] Re: 600X and A21p Batteries

Hallo Deanna,

I know, hIave to rename the subject of my posts, the last time it was
a little mistake...

I received some replys to my post. The replys made me believe, that I
can't handle a batt rebuild by myself. I dont have the time and much
important - the know-how. So i will have to buy some new...

I spotted a dealer on the german ebay site - he is named "kamza_de".
There are very few dealers that offer a A21p battery at a reasonable
price. This dealer offers it with a BuyNow option, that's why I think
it is not a bad choice to buy one from him.

For the 600x battery there is a local dealer, that offers the batt for
59,- Euro, on ebay the cheapest that i found cost 50,- (57 inkl.
shipping). I will buy this one at the local store.

I am just wondering - will it last again just 1 month, until the new
600x batt gets crappy again?

What i read at http://www.durm.org/ :

a) either the LiIon-Batteries are of bad quality or b) or the
battery-internal microcontroller is buggy.

or

c) the system board is buggy (charger hardware)
d) the BIOS has some bugs (which might control the charging, APM or the capacity display)

So I have to hope it was a) or b) with my 600x ;-(
