Re: [Thinkpad] can't get java on 560x

I solved the prob lem, sort of anyway.

I never could get the laptop to download the plugin, not sure why.
However, I could download it to my desktop machine. Only trouble is, I
have been trying unsuccessfully to get my home network to communicate
for weeks, so I couldn't transfer the file between machines.

Well, last night I finally solved the network bug. The bottom line was
I had to uninstall, and then re-install file and print sharing on the xp
machine....

I then moved the update over from the desktop to the 560x and installed
java, which is working fine now.
