Bruce's suggestion that it was a virus piqued my interest so I did a
Google search on 'explorer.scf'. Found nothing useful. Then I did a MS
Knowledge Base search (http://support.microsoft.com) on the same keyword
and that was the first hit. Though I'm not a MS fan, I do have to say
that their Knowledge Base is fairly comprehensive for any topics that
are directly Windows related, like this one.
