When I see "Lite" anything, I always wonder if that's one of the causes of
issues such as these.
One issue might be the mainboard controller drivers, or may be caused by a
resource conflict.
Keep in mind that W98 could only "see" four primary partitions at once,
others must be logical drives.
Hard to diagnose via email, though I'll tell you that my 560X used to work
very well with CF type II and III cards under W98SE. Now it's a W2000
machine so forgive me for not being able to assist further with that model.
