[Thinkpad] T30 memory failure

I had a problem with unrecognised memory in the second memory
slot of my T30. The problem was already described on the list in the
past.

IBM service centre replaced the motherboard. Now all RAM
is recognised (768 MB), however, I experience occasional "freezes"
(nothing works) when I have to hard reboot. PC Doctor passed full memory
tests 3 times (with both memory chips and separately) and failed once
(with both memory chips).

I am completely puzzled. Any ideas? Thanks.
