I think you need to install the dock IDE drivers, and adjust the UltraBay
settings.

I'm bound to be overlooking something, but can't pin it down.

Win98 se, HDD is in a 2nd HDD adapter inserted into exp slot of enhanced
docking
station on an A30p.

Drive is formatted.

I'm wondering if it is because of at one time using a compact flash card in
a
PCMCIA adapter. Naturally, windows recognized that as a hard drive but even
that
no longer is recognized when inserted.
