[Thinkpad] replace miniPCI wlan in A31p

Hi,

recently I wrote about the miniPCI wlan card (original) in my A31p
stopped working. Well - I don't really know whether its the card, or
some antenna connector (looked at them and they seem ok), so I thought
to try another miniPCI card.

Has anyone suggestions what model I could/should use as replacement? I
heard about IBM "dongeling" the mini PCI cards so you have to buy
these accessories from IBM. Is that true?

Or could I just take any miniPCI card for 2,4GHz wlan (OTOH I also
heard, that the builtin antenna could manage a dual-WLAN card with
2,4/5GHz band also)?

Thanks for any hints/shared experience.
