[Thinkpad] ThinkPad T20

I have a ThinkPad T20 which I like very much. My problem stems from loading something that it didn't like so I decided to reformat the drive and do a recovery. Ouch! I tried to do an FDISK but kept getting drive A as the drive that should be drive C. How do I make the fool thing do what it's supposed to do? I still haven't found how to do a listing of the different drives, i.e., list the hard drive as C, etc. How do I access this window, as holding F1 down and doing the other things that are supposed to bring this window up don't seem to work.

Any help is appreciated.
