As much as I love my 600X, it does not have a NIC socket. My house is
stuck on 600's. I and my wife each have a 600X. Her sister has a 600E
that's over right now for a tune-up, and my wife's old machine, another
600E, is being readied to send to my dad. (I can't afford to give away
anything faster!)
The machines are very usable and very reliable.
