[Thinkpad] T41 Pointer Button

IBM - T41

The bottom left button (so the touch pad's left button) has completely failed to
come back up. I can lift it up, but then it just falls back into the case. It
still works, as the sensor seems fine, and it relieves pressure on it... but
there is just no play left in it.

I don't really want to wait several works turn around time while IBM looks into
it for me, does anyone know what kind of repair I'm looking at here, and if
they'll send me parts... or would I just be best off sending it and letting
them deal with the problem?
