When I was caught recently in a hotel room offering free connection only by wires, and a
TP without a NIC, I found an small -- about the size of a thumb drive -- inexpensive
(<$30) Linksys USB network adapter.

But I wish I had seen this thing first, an ultraportable ASUS wireless access point that
can be found for <$60. It looks like it would be incredibly useful for that price. Does
anyone here have one -- or another brand -- that they can comment on?
