The posted specs on my X30 originally didn't mention the parallel port -
presumably because earlier X series didn't have one, and while
satisfying popular demand by putting this port back on was one of the
major design decisions behind the X30, this apparently hadn't yet
trickled down to the IBM web docs guys, who assumed that it was a
'legacy' port and therefore dead.
