I agree, with the caveat that there are other good search engines out
there (altavista, lycos, alltheweb, dogpile) which often find things
that google does not.
Also, one can use google 'covertly' (and sans cookies) using the proxy
server kindly provided by the paranoiacs at google-watch, as well as
search-engine amalgamators like dogpile.
