I do not understand your posting at all. The feedback was at 88%,
representing two negatives. Feedback given by one user only counts as 1, no
matter how many.
It should have only shown up as 13, I don't get that part, but I am
completely mystified at your seeming insistance that this is an "inside
job".
They steal any account they can, as long as there is some positive feedback,
good for them, would not do much good to steal a (-5) account, no one would
bid anyway.
Again, most folks are smart enough not to bid and buy a $1000 auction on a
new account with (0). Besides, why make an account and give out information
when you can steal an account.
This actually happened to someone I work with, she was duped by one of the
"phishing" emails, and suddenly she was "selling" items for $1200 buy it
nows, when her activity is generally on $10-25 items. She was able to make
some phone calls to Ebay and shut it down, but it was EXACTLY the same
pattern. She found out because one of her regular "customers (bidders)" saw
the fake auctions on her user ID and contacted her directly.
Trust me, hijacked account. No more, no less.
