[Thinkpad] 600x can not shutdown

My 600x can not get after the "Loggin off" screen on WinXP. Sometimes
it shuts down properly, but it is in about every 10th shutdown. All
the other time it is displaying the log off message and there is no
harddisk activity at all. I can move with the mouse, so that is not a
"freeze".

Solution, anyone ?
