Paul, a memory upgrade reasoning may be along an axis where the
opposite ends are "NEED" and "vanity". Once you resolve this, cost is
secondary .. my view from the peanut gallery.

If your consideration is "need" because of what you do on your A31 --

-- is what I got for my A31p -- have had it long enough to testify that
it runs flawlessly. One aspect I did decide was that my 1GB modules be
an identical pair. You can do the math compared to crucial cost.
